Confirmation of legal residence is needed if you are not a national of the country you are applying from, or if your right to reside there is not shown in your passport. For a UAE resident applying in the UAE on a non-UAE passport, this means the UAE residence visa and Emirates ID.
Employment Letter
Employment letter (employed applicants)
Employed applicants commonly provide an employer letter confirming employment and approved leave. Not applicable to all employment statuses.

Do not submit a hotel booking as evidence. The Home Office guide lists "Hotel bookings" under "Documents you should not use as evidence". The online application does ask where you will be staying, but that is form data, not a document to upload. If you are staying with a host, evidence from that host belongs under the invitation/sponsor evidence instead.
Flight Reservation
Flight reservation
Do not buy or submit flight tickets as evidence for a Standard Visitor application. The Home Office guide lists "Flight bookings (unless transiting)" under "Documents you should not use as evidence". The transit exception does not apply to the Standard Visitor route.
