Adds up what a visa application actually costs end to end — the consular fee, the application-centre service charge, our preparation fee and any add-ons — across however many applicants are travelling, so there are no surprises at the counter.
How it works
1
Choose destination and visa type
Fee structures differ substantially between destinations and between visa categories.
2
Enter the number of applicants
Most components are charged per person, including children above the exempt age.
3
Add optional services
Urgent review and similar add-ons are shown separately so you can see what is optional.
How to read the result
The total separates what you pay the authorities from what you pay us. Consular and application-centre fees go to those bodies directly and are generally non-refundable even if an application is refused — which is the strongest argument for getting the file right the first time.
Frequently asked questions
Is the consular fee refunded if my visa is refused?
Generally no. Both the consulate fee and the application-centre service charge are usually non-refundable regardless of outcome. This is precisely why a properly prepared file matters — a refusal means paying the full fee again on reapplication.
Why does the estimate differ from what I was quoted elsewhere?
Quotes vary depending on what is included. Ours separates the consular fee, the application-centre charge and our own service fee so you can see each component. Be cautious of a single bundled figure that doesn't break down.
Do children pay the same fee?
It depends on the destination and the child's age. Several destinations reduce or waive the fee below certain ages — the Schengen Area, for example, charges a reduced rate for children aged 6 to 11 and nothing below six.
