A trip to Poland is a Schengen short-stay application, so one authorisation covers the wider Schengen Area — but only if you lodge it with the right consulate, through the right operator. Poland applications in the UAE are handled by Consulate-direct — no VFS or BLS intermediary, and you apply here when Poland is where you will spend the most nights.
Emirati nationals travel to the Schengen Area visa-free for short stays. Most other UAE residents apply for a short-stay (Type C) visa, and the requirements are essentially uniform across member states.
Poland is the exception among Schengen missions covered here: the Embassy in Abu Dhabi states it does not cooperate with any intermediary and processes every application itself via its own e-konsulat booking system, open only to applicants who already hold a valid UAE Emirates ID. Apply to Poland when it is your main destination by nights spent; if another Schengen country accounts for more of your stay, the application belongs with that country instead.
Apply to Poland if it is where you will spend the most nights. If your nights are split evenly across several Schengen countries, apply to whichever one you enter first. Choosing a consulate because its appointments are easier to get is a common cause of avoidable problems.
